I figured that was the likely reason. Hiding that fact somehow would be good, especially since the text at the bottom sort of draws your eyes to it. Otherwise good stuff. <img src="http://www.musemart.com/my-plugins/bb-smilies/default/icon_cool.gif" title="8)" class="bb_smilies" />

Hmmm- could you stick him down behind the black/red frame so that you just don't see that part? I think I'd also center the sunburst back behind his torso somewhere, so it may work out nicer composition wise to move him down behind your frame anyhow. <img src="http://www.musemart.com/my-plugins/bb-smilies/default/icon_smile.gif" title=":)" class="bb_smilies" />

I love the aged look and the colors though. <img src="http://www.musemart.com/my-plugins/bb-smilies/default/icon_smile.gif" title=":)" class="bb_smilies" />

Looks good except for one thing - the sudden termination of the guy's legs bothers me. He's just sorta floating there, with no real reason for the rest of his legs to be missing.

So, I'm so glad you guys enjoyed 3:16. And I'm thinking of running a demo down at the shop here, so I decided I needed a recruitment poster that I can put up at the shop.

http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l1/tensen01/postercopy.png

Whatcha think? Obviously it'll be a while before I can get it printed the size I want it (18x24).

There will be a "Notice" attached to it explaining what the game is and such too.

I know this guy's Homer Simpson has been floating around the internet- but my favorite is his realistic Jessica Rabbit.

I don't generally like photo manips, but this guy is an artist. <img src="http://www.musemart.com/my-plugins/bb-smilies/default/icon_scarred.gif" title=":scarred:" class="bb_smilies" />
Audrey on "New Technique and art!!"

Copics ARE cool, I used them for a number of things in school- mostly my technical drawing class (buildings and etc in perspective... oh BOY!). The nice thing about them is that once you spend the money on the marker, you can buy tips or refills to replace just pieces of them- so they're a hefty initial investment, but if you can find a place that sells the bits and pieces they get easier to handle.

I THINK I still have a few copics I will probably never use again- remind me to look sometime when you're over, and if I find them I'll be happy to let you have them.

This looks really nice, I like that you used the direction of the marker for some texture. <img src="http://www.musemart.com/my-plugins/bb-smilies/default/icon_smile.gif" title=":)" class="bb_smilies" /> I think the hair is a teeny bit rough, and her face could stand to have a few more curves in it to help a feminine feel, but I'm really enjoying the colors and the rest of your linework a lot more! Nicely done. <img src="http://www.musemart.com/my-plugins/bb-smilies/default/icon_smile.gif" title=":)" class="bb_smilies" />

Okay, so you know I've started trying some new techniques with my art and stuff.

I recently picked up and started playing around with some Copic sketch markers.

And I have a review: Fucking Awesome!!

I love using these markers, they give my artwork more depth and texture. And they're a hell of a lot faster than coloring digitally.

There's only one downside... They're expensive. Between $5 and $6 apiece, but I don't care. I love them and I intend to use them more andmore from now on.

And as an art piece to showcase the markers

This is a paid commission(30 bucks yeah!!) and my first outting at using the markers to do colors as opposed to just grey shading.

So yeah.
